The Eemgaarde is located on the Dorresteinseweg on the outskirts of Amersfoort. Around De Eemgaarde is a large garden with several terraces. There is a bus stop and ample parking space on the private grounds of the residential centre.

De Eemgaarde is located in the quiet residential area Dorresteijn. The residential complex consists of 238 two- and 2-room houses. These independent houses are spread over three buildings with four, seven and eight floors respectively. The floors can be reached either by stairs or via the three lifts.

The residents of De Eemgaarde can use hobby, billiards and meeting rooms, meeting room, library, shop, hair salon and a bicycle shed. Various activities are organized by the residents, including  bridge, clover coats, painting, their own reading club, needlework, there is also a weekly sports lesson. Also for shops such as a supermarket, bakery or pharmacy you do not have to go far. The Euterpeplein shopping centre and the shopping street Leusderweg are located within 2 kilometres.

The own supermarket on the complex is open 2 times a week a morning and has a wide range.

The resident consultant is the point of contact for all residents. He or she will be happy to show you around your new living environment and ensure that you can live comfortably and quietly. In doing so, he or she ensures that you get exactly the service you want. So if you have a wish: feel free to ask, because your resident consultant will be happy to think along with you.

You can contact the resident consultant by telephone from Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 13:00. Otherwise, you'll get a colleague on the phone. After working hours, emergency calls are automatically made to the control room. So there is always someone available. The resident consultant has consultation hours in the complex every working day except Wednesday from 13:00 to 14:00.
