Wooncentrum Chestnutflat is located in old Amstelveen near the Amsterdam Forest and water area De Poel and was built in 1991. The residential centre consists of 11 two- and 73 three-room houses spread over the ground floor and five floors. There are two elevators. In the Chestnut Flat you can use various amenities such as a recreation room, service centre, library, hair salon, masseuse, beautician and pedicure. A residents' consultant works in the residential centre.

There are two types of housing. The average area of the houses is 64 m². The houses have no thresholds and are wheelchair accessible.
